Why is the red light seal light blinking on my FoodSaver vacuum sealing system?
Perhaps one of the most common issues that FoodSaver users come across is a flashing red light labeled “Seal.” If your light like this keeps flashing at you, just let the unit cool. Thus, the FoodSaver cannot seal properly. Pick the latch up and try closing it all the way.
Why are my vacuum sealed bags not staying sealed?
If your vacuum sealer is melting the bag too much and creating tears in the seal, try decreasing your seal time on your sealer. It may be too long for your bags. If your vacuum sealer isn’t sealing the bags all the way through, try increasing the seal time. The bags may need a little more time to properly seal.
How do I reset the tray full light on FoodSaver?
Unplug machine, wash tray with soap and water, dry tray with hair dryer (that way you do not have to wait 24 hrs) re innstall tray, plug back in and presto!
