The YCS/186 is pretty cool too but gauss rifles often glitch for me just like they did in Fallout 3 (shot not hitting where you aim, shot doing little damage, etc.). Holorifle sucks. Lousy spread, high AP, short range.

i like the yc-186. everyone votes on how the holorifle is so awesome. but honestly its not that great. there just isn’t enough skills to back up energy weapons like physical guns. but i do love the yc that thing is nasty. I like the Holorifle better.
