What is WELD-On 40?

SciGrip Weld-On #40 is a two-component, clear, medium syrupy, low VOC, reactive acrylic adhesive. It polymerizes at room temperature, forming high strength joints within a few hours. The cemented joint retains high clarity, good strength and resistance to the effects of weathering and aging.

How do you weld at 40?

Weld-On 40 is flammable, so keep it away from heat sources.

  1. Prepare the surfaces of the items you plan to bond with the Weld-On 40.
  2. Bring both parts of the adhesive to room temperature.
  3. Mix the components together to create the adhesive.
  4. Place the mixture in a plastic glue applicator with an attached hypodermic needle.
