What is the drug Caduet used for?
CADUET is a prescription drug that combines Norvasc® (amlodipine besylate) and Lipitor® (atorvastatin calcium) in one pill. CADUET is used in adults who need both Norvasc and Lipitor. Lipitor is used to lower the levels of “bad” cholesterol and triglycerides in your blood.
When should you take Caduet?
Take this medication regularly in order to get the most benefit from it. Remember to take it at the same time each day. It may take up to 2 weeks before you get the full benefit of amlodipine, and up to 4 weeks before you get the full benefit of atorvastatin.
