Can I put a yew tree in a planter?

John 18th August 2009 at 2:40 pm I purchased a yew tree (about 1.5m tall) in a pot last november with the intention of putting it into a large planter. I left it in it’s original pot and it was fine until the spring, when it started going bronze, yellow, on one side.
