Who designed the Original Stormtrooper?
In 1976 prop maker Andrew Ainsworth of Shepperton Design Studios created the original Stormtrooper helmets and armour for the first Star Wars movie, A New Hope. All these years later, Andrew produces genuine, authentic replicas using the original moulds, as close as it is possible to get to the original film props.

But how did the original and memorable design come to be? After being hired by George Lucas to help visualize the world of Star Wars back in 1975, concept designer Ralph McQuarrie took to his drawing and painting boards to create the very first Imperial Stormtrooper.

How were the Original Stormtrooper costumes made?
Star Wars has been said to be the first film to use vacuum formed ABS plastic for costumes. The original helmets of the stormtroopers were created from a high density polyethylene material that was khaki-colored. However, HDPE did not provide either the durability or the look Lucas envisioned, even when painted white.
How do stormtroopers go to the bathroom?
Walk towards the toilet, open the door, do what’s needed, flush, arrange uniform/armor, get out. (Assume they are taught to wash their hands too..) They are human and so is their armor. I am guessing they can take the lower part off it to go to the bathroom.
What does TK Tropper mean?
Although it’s never been defined canonically, the belief is that it stands for Trooper Korps, giving it that nazi feel that Lucas was going for with the Empire.
What does FN mean stormtrooper?
This means that FN stands for Fireteam N, and so on. It’s a fireteam, as seen in the Force Awakens. And in the Finn book. There are only around 4–6 people in each fireteam corp, so I think this may be the more possible answer. But to this day, the Star Wars universe stays quiet about this subject.
