How long does it take for a check to clear at AmeriCU?
Reservation of Right to Hold Depending on the type of check deposited, funds may not be available until the fifth business day after the day of deposit. However, the first $200.00 of a deposit will be available on the first business day after the day of deposit.
How do I deposit a check online with AmeriCU?
To deposit a check:
- Endorse the back of the check as you normally would.
- Log in and tap “Deposit Checks” (iPhone/iPad Users) or “Deposits” (Android Phone Users).
- First-time users will see the AmeriCU Smart Deposit Service Agreement.

Your member account number is located on your Membership Identification card or on the Welcome Letter you received at the time of account opening. You may also obtain your account number by stopping into your local Financial Center location.

Does AmeriCU take care of their customers when they need help?
Money was taken; however no Official check was printed. Customer Service now tells me it will take 3 days to investigate and that I have to keep checking my account after that for the credit. Although interest rates are great, I do not feel AmeriCu takes care of their customers when there are issues and / or requests.
