Description. Bloodthirst was created by Brian Schneider. It works by putting a number of +1/+1 counters on a permanent (so far only creatures) as it enters the battlefield, if an opponent has been dealt damage that turn.

Can I sacrifice a creature in response to it being sacrificed?
No, you can’t lock in that creature for sacrifice. If you do respond to Eldrazi Monument and sacrifice a creature, it just means that that particular creature won’t exist when you are told by Eldrazi Monument to “sacrifice a creature”.
