How do you listen to drive-in movies?
We prefer to use an old school portable radio with batteries for sound at the drive-in. It’s inexpensive, easy to use, and there’s less risk of draining our car’s battery. You can find a portable radio on Amazon.com for less than $15, plus batteries.

Do you keep your car running at a drive in movie?
Nope. Most drive-in theaters (the few that exist still anyways) either have a speaker box that you hang on the window (this was the old way) or transmit on a radio station on very low power (tune your radio to 89.2FM for instance) and you leave your car on aux for the movie.
