What happened Swissair?
In March 2002, its regional subsidiary Crossair took over several of its assets and European routes, effectively spelling the end for the airline. The following month, it rebranded as SWISS, and took over Swissair’s remaining long-haul routes, thus bringing an end to 71 years of operational history.
