Is there a correlation between APM and League of Legends?

There’s likely some correlation, however it’s not going to be like something along the lines of Starcraft where if you had an effective apm of anything over around 200-250 would make you an absolute god at the game. League has much less to micro around and pressing a lot of buttons isn’t exactly something that is needed for most roles.

What is your average APM?

One of them, is APM. It says that the community average is about 170, so just below 3 a second. My average APM is about 470, which is just below 8 per second. I wanted to know if there was any correlation to rank or role and APM. If anyone here who uses LoLWiz would like to share their rank, main role and what their APM is, that would be great.
