One of the most popular Air Max sneakers of all-time, the Nike Air Max 95 made its debut in 1995. They feature two separate blow-molded Air-Sole units and were the first Air Max sneaker to feature visible air in the forefoot. They have been retroed numerous times in various styles, versions and colorways.
Why are 95s called 95s?
“They were designed by Sergio Lozano, based on the human anatomy. It’s the skeleton, [represented by] the waves up the side. The rib cage [represented by the lacing] and then the mesh near the laces [representing muscle fibres]. That’s the inspiration.”
Why are they called Nike 110?
This premium AM95 brings a fresh twist on the OG fade, using as inspiration the British cities that adopted the silhouette and gave it its ‘110’ nickname.
