What is Mr MDF board?

Moisture Resistant MDF behaves much the same to Standard MDF in terms of effortless machining and consistent surface quality. Where it differs from the more Standard product is that it is tested to be suitable in humid conditions where it can often be exposed to moisture and occasional wetting.
Is MDF waterproof?
It should be noted that whichever method you use, MDF is moisture-resistant, not water-resistant, nor waterproof, and is still prone to swelling and warping if in direct contact with the elements. Do not use waterborne polyurethane, as it may not bind readily to the MDF’s surface.

Can you paint Mr MDF?
You can use a water based primer, that is what the Leyland Acrylic is, but it’s a bit more tricky than BIN if your not used to it. The BIN will give you a good base to work from and seal the mdf with less reaction than Leyland first.
