CYO Athletics provides an opportunity for young people to experience spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional growth through participation in sports. CYO is beginning our 84th year and we are proud to be recognized as one of the top youth sports programs in the country.

More than 20,000 youth play CYO sports and over 5,000 adults coach and support CYO sports throughout eight counties in Northeast Ohio. CYO Athletics provides an opportunity for young people to experience spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional growth through participation in sports.

The Diocesan Northern Virginia Junior Catholic Youth Organization provides sports leagues which are an important component of comprehensive youth ministry in our parishes. Activities should foster cooperation, respect, sportsmanship, responsibility, leadership, competitiveness, fairness and courtesy.

How much does it cost to participate in CYO Athletics?
CYO Athletics SF is offering Boys Basketball to all the participating schools/programs for 3rd – 8th graders. $225 fee is for St. Stephen ONLY. Other schools will not be charged. Please check back for more information. CYO Athletics SF is offering Girls Basketball to all the participating schools/programs for 3rd – 8th graders.
How do I Register my child in CYO Athletics?
To register a child athlete in a CYO Athletics sports offering (Grades K-8), it is required that one parent/guardian register for and attend a Parent Like A Champion Workshop. The workshop is offered virtually via Zoom, and must be completed prior to registering a child for an upcoming sports season.
