I have a TJ top on my YJ. It will work and seal well, it just takes a fair bit of grinding due to the angle of the windshield.
Can you convert a soft top Jeep to hardtop?
Yes, you will want to remove the soft top before putting the hardtop on. While the hardtop will fit over the retracted soft top, the soft top blocks access to the rear cargo area, severely limiting its usefulness.
Are all YJ hard tops the same?
